SWIPE Telecom introduces Android-based 3D tablet

California-headquartered SWIPE Telecom has introduced a range of three tablet devices in  India.Of them , 3D LIFE looks the most interesting offering, The company claims that this is India’s first 3D tablet PC ,and its 3D gaming and 3D videos are targeted at children and the youth.

The tablet sports a 17.8-cm (7-inch) TFT five point touch capacitive screen packing 800x480 pixels. It runs Google’s Android 4.03 Ice Cream Sandwich and an A13 Cortex processor on a 1.5 GHz clock speed. It comes packed with 4 GB of internal memory and a 512 MB RAM. The tablet can play videos for 5-6 hours at a stretch, and its 3400 mAH battery has a long life. 3D LIFE also boasts of a 2 MP front camera that supports video calling.

Microsoft First Tablet pc named SURFACE to be launched on 26th october

Microsoft has jumped into the tablet war is increasing rapidly, officially announcing the launch of its first tablet PC powered by the Windows operating system RT on October 26.

It’s been named Microsoft Surface (since it support keyboard similar to surface).

Models in 32GB (for $599) and 64GB (for $699) with black Touch Covers can be preordered for delivery by Oct. 26, but anyone wanting a 32GB model ($499) without the black Touch Cover will have to wait for up to three weeks, according to the Microsoft site.
